Fred Couples Fred Couples made five PGA TOUR starts, highlighted by a pair of top-15 finishes. He had five top-10s in nine Champions Tour starts, marked by a pair of wins. On the PGA TOUR, posted a T7 at the Northern Trust Open in his second TOUR start of the year. He held the outright, second-round lead at 8-under following a 5-under-par 66. He entered the final round one shot off the lead and took the lead with birdies on his first three holes. Fell from the top of the scoreboard following bogey on No. 6 and a double on no. 7. Earned best finish on TOUR since a solo sixth at the 2010 Masters and the top-10 was his 14th in 29 career appearances at the Los Angeles-area event. Couples earned a spot in the 2012 PLAYERS Championship, a tournament he’s won twice, with his victory at the Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship in a playoff over John Cook, his first senior major championship as a member of the Champions Tour. Win at Winchester CC also made him just the third player to claim both a PLAYERS Championship and a Senior Players Championship in his career. Couples shot a 66 to take the first-round lead at the Masters before finishing sixth. The first-round 66 was the best round of his career at Augusta National. His previous best score at the Masters was a 67, which he recorded four times. One of his four 67s at the Masters came in 1992 when won his only Green Jacket. His only first-round lead in a major was at the 1998 Masters (T2). |

Tom Lehman Tom Lehman is the winner of five events on the PGA TOUR including the British Open Championship and THE TOUR Championship. He collected his first Charles Schwab Cup last season, holding off Mark Calcavecchia by just 74 points at the season’s final event. He took the Schwab Cup lead after the second event of the season (Allianz Championship) and never relinquished it. Tom Lehman was also the circuit’s only $2-million man, earning the Arnold Palmer Award with a personal-best $2,081,526. He captured his Champions Tour first win in 2011 when he sank a six-foot birdie putt on the final hole to defeat Jeff Sluman and Rod Spittle at the Allianz Championship in Boca Raton. He birdied two of the final three holes to get into the overtime session. |

Mark Calcavecchia Mark Calcavecchia won 13 events on the PGA TOUR including the 1989 British Open Championship. In 2011, Mark Calcavecchia turned in a stellar first full season on the Champions Tour, earning the Byron Nelson Trophy for lowest stroke average (69.04) and finishing second in official earnings, with more than $1.8 million. He led the Champions Tour in top-10 finishes, with 15 in his 22 starts on the circuit and was among the top-five in five events, including three majors. Finally broke through for his first career victory in late August at the Boeing Classic near Seattle. He also led the Champions Tour in sub-par rounds with 57 and, along with Peter Senior, had the most rounds in the 60s with 43. In 2002, he was inducted into Phoenix Open Hall of Fame, becoming only the fifteenth person and sixth golfer put into the Hall, which was established in 1985. Other golfers include Arnold Palmer, Gene Littler, Byron Nelson, Ben Hogan and Ken Venturi. |

Nick Price Nick Price won 18 events on the PGA TOUR including the 1993 THE PLAYERS Championship, 1994 British Open Championship and PGA Championship. In 2011, he was carded top-five finishes in six events, all before the end of June, and ranked among the top-10 money-winners for a third consecutive season. Highlight of his year was a wire-to-wire victory, at the Toshiba Classic, when he held off Mark Wiebe by one stroke in Newport Beach for his fourth career Champions Tour title. He matched the lowest 18-hole score in Champions Tour history, eagling two of the final four at Newport Beach CC in the opening round for a career-best, 11-under-par 60. His five-stroke advantage also matched the biggest first round lead in Champions Tour annals. In his next start, was on the leaderboard at the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic, and his final-round 67 led to a T2 with David Frost and Jeff Sluman, four strokes back of eventual winner, Tom Lehman. He was born in South Africa, moved to Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) at an early age. After a decade of collaborating with a variety of architects, formed his own design company, Nick Price Golf Course Design. Currently designing golf courses in South Africa, Dominican Republic and the TPC in Cancun, Mexico and also has designed courses in Zimbabwe, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Portugal. |

Bernhard Langer Bernhard Langer has won three times on the PGA Tour and eight more times as a member of the Champions Tour since 2007. He also has 58 other professional victories that came to him as a member of the European PGA Tour. Two of his three regular Tour victories here in the U.S. came at the Masters – in 1985 and 1993. Langer capped 2009 with his second consecutive Player of the Year Award on the Champions Tour. He again was the leading money-winner and again had the lowest scoring average on the circuit, a noteworthy mark of 68.9 per round. Langer’s turned professional at age 15 but his progress was slowed by a stint in the service where he suffered two stress fractures and bulging discs in his back. He has overcome putting woes in his career by turning to a long putter, which he has used since 1996. |
